Overall great experience as they were getting up and running. Inside is very pizza parlor vibes It was extremely warm inside and I had to ask for ice water multiple times since we were being given tepid water and our poor waiter finally gave us a carafe full!! Overall really kind and accommodating. The pizza was great! Chewy crust, great toppings. I would bring others back in the future! Highly recommend ending the meal with soft serve. I had cherry and chocolate swirl! We did have to come almost when they opened for no wait with a reservation.

We were excited to try the new pizza place. It took several weeks just to get in and don't bother on a Friday night unless you have reservations at least for now. The restaurant is really cute and we'll executed except for the unfortunate front door which has no sidewalk from the parking lot making it a little dangerous. The pizza was okay. It's a NY style thin crust that is cooked crisp and chewy. We prefer the lighter sourdough crust at a competitors place. The ingredients were great and fresh. However the execution was off and will probably be improving. We ordered the ragu pizza and the sauce was good but the ricotta cheese was in giant clumps, we're guessing needed to be spread. The basil was tiny little pieces and we prefer larger while leaves for taste and presentation. Overall, my wife felt it was a but too salty. They don't really cater to kids and the sizes are not great. They don't have an individual or kids pizza so we had to order a small which is really a large. The large is giant and won't easily fit in your fridge but at least you'll have leftovers. I'd recommend the small for two people. FYI there is no juice for kids but they did have lemonade and p

Get a reservation if you can!! This place is packed and for gooooood reason. Amazing pizza and delicious custard. Also - small wine list but excellent wine glasses. Felt this was the perfect date night spot - the food was accessible and delicious, and the venue hits the perfect vibe for diner and still nice and classy.

First visit to Mooney’s Pizza and I’m impressed. The whole staff was friendly, attentive, and on point. The pizza is amazing and the meatballs were insanely delicious! I’ll absolutely be back.

Service is always amazing so friendly and helpful. Every server stopped by to help or just check in. Food is OUTSTANDING. Best pizza in Long Beach. We had squeakers, caesar salad, wings, pineapple pizza and ragu pan pizza. All were 10/10. Can’t wait to come back and I will be telling all our family and friends to come eat here. Thank you
